(KVOA)- Some viewers reached out to News 4 Tucson wanting to know the ingredients of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to see if they were possibly allergic to anything that was in the vaccine.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that both vaccines are made with mRNA, lipids, salts, sugars and buffers.
The CDC breaks down the ingredients for both vaccines below.
The Federal Drug Administration advises that you should not get the vaccine if you had a severe allergic reaction after the first dose or have a severe allergic reaction to any of these ingredients.
