Super Bowl picks 2021: Breaking down my 3 best bets for Chiefs vs. Bucs in Super Bowl 55 - DraftKings Nation

gubukdadan.blogspot.com

After 256 regular season games and three weeks of postseason football, we have finally made it the Super Bowl. On Sunday evening, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be taking on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 55 in Tampa, FL at Raymond James Stadium.

These two teams played each other in Week 12 of the season, where the Chiefs won 27-24. If that game was any indication of what we might see on Sunday night, then we should be in store for a fun Super Bowl. While there will be a lot happening on the field, there will also be a lot of action happening on the betting lines.

Over the last two weeks, sports fans and bettors have been wagering money on who will the win game, various innocuous prop bets such as the coin toss, or player props. We are going to take a look some props you need to put on your radar with the game approaching. All odds are courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook and the numbers are moving in the remaining 24 hours until kickoff.

First best bet: Tampa Bay Buccaneers ML (+143)

If you are looking for a plus money bet to lay some cash on, look no further than the moneyline. As we all know, the Chiefs are receiving a ton of action. They defeated the Bucs earlier this season and are the defending Super Bowl champs. It would be crazy to bet against Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid.

However, the Bucs do have Tom Brady, who is not unfamiliar with the Super Bowl. This is his 10th appearance in the big game and Tampa Bay is at home. Its not farfetched to think that the Bucs pull this one out as they’ve played well since their Week 13 bye. Tampa Bay has won seven-straight games, thanks to the defense and Brady.

The Bucs’ defense has been opportunistic in the postseason, recording seven takeaways in three games. If the Bucs can get a turnover or two on Mahomes and Brady converts those to points, it will change the complexion of the Super Bowl.

Second best bet: Anytime TD for Cameron Brate (+325)

This is a long shot touchdown prop considering the Bucs have Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, and even Scotty Miller at wide receiver and Rob Gronkowski at tight end. However, Cameron Brate has been targeted often by Brady in the Bucs’ three postseason games.

The veteran tight end has 11 receptions (16 targets) for 149 yards and a touchdown. Heading into Sunday’s Super Bowl, Brate is dealing with a back injury. It would be a shock to see him not play in the final game of the 2020 season. Here’s also something to keep in mind, the Chiefs’ defense gave up nine touchdowns to tight ends this season.

Third best bet: Clyde Edwards-Helaire O 30.5 rushing yards (+100)

For the Chiefs to come away with their second-straight Super Bowl win, they must be able to run the ball. Unlike their first game against the Bucs, where Mahomes was able to throw the ball around the field to Tyreek Hill. We should expect Tampa Bay to make the necessary the necessary adjustments and keep everything in front.

Therefore, it will be imperative for the Chiefs to get the ground attack going with rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. The first-round pick struggled in the AFC title game, only recording six carries for seven yards. But it was also Edwards-Helaire’s first game back from injury.

CEH has gone over 30.5 rushing yards in 12 out of 14 games this season. However, bettor beware as the Bucs’ defense is stout at stopping the run and we do not know who will get the bulk of the carries for Kansas City. It might be Edwards-Helaire, Darrel Williams or Le’Veon Bell.
