Chocolate chip cookies, cookie bundt cakes and rice crispy treats made by a California company are being recalled because potential allergens are not listed as ingredients on the labels.
Chocolate and the Chip of Los Angeles has recalled the items because they may contain wheat, milk, soy and tree nuts that are not listed as ingredients, according to an announcement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to those ingredients could have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The baked goods were distributed in Pennsylvania as well as Massachusetts, Texas, Idaho, New York, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Washington, Utah, New Jersey, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, Georgia, Minnesota, Nevada, Virginia and Oregon through e-commerce and pop-up retail locations.
Cookies, bundt cakes and rice crispy treats were distributed locally in the Los Angeles area as well as CA, MA, TX, ID, NY, AL, AZ, AR, WA, UT, NJ, FL, OH, CO, GA, ID, MI, NV, NC, PA, VA, OR, and reached consumers through e-commerce and pop-up retail locations.
There have been no illnesses reported.
The FDA said an “investigation indicates the problem was caused by a mistake made on the owners behalf and not having the proper protocol for distributing and labeling baked goods under the proper regulations.”

Spiced oatmeal raisin: wheat, milk, soy
Spiced rum oatmeal raisin cookies: wheat, milk, soy
Maple macadamia: wheat, milk, soy, macadamia nuts
Flufadoodle, The Disc Ball, Hot Chip Summer, Oktoberfest, Peanutbutter Spice, Funfetti, Fluffa-Nutta and the Fluffetti Cookie Cake: wheat, milk, soy
The Big Cooke Cake: wheat, milk, soy, hazelnuts
Original Nutella Cookie cake: wheat, milk, soy, hazelnuts
Lavender: wheat, milk, soy
Boozy Banana Walnut: wheat, milk, soy, sulfite
The Original Gluten Free: milk, soy, almond milk
Gluten-free Sweetie: milk, soy, almond milk
Gluten-free cookie cake: hazelnuts and almond milk
Gluten-free Nutella cookie cake: milk, soy, hazelnuts and almond milk
The OG rice crispy: milk, soy
Brown butter rice crispy treat salted caramel: milk, soy
