The Chiefs started slowly in the first half on offense but remained strong defensively minus the last two minutes of the second quarter. Taylor Heinicke’s late touchdown pass to former Chiefs tight end Ricky Seals-Jones was the frustration tipping point for All-Pro safety Tyrann Mathieu. The Honey Badger was noticeably irate on the sidelines screaming for his team to get their act together.

The Chiefs first half had its share of issues on offense with costly turnovers and missed opportunities. Once again, Mahomes was a victim of the turnover bug that plagued the team to begin this season as he committed two interceptions. The first interception was off of the hands of Tyreek Hill, but the second miscue was blatantly his fault, and Twitter was well aware of the blunder.
