We’ve brought you a whole range of recipes with just a few ingredients to make in lockdown, but this might be one of the simplest yet.
These healthy cookies need just two things – bananas and ground almonds.
Andrea Soranidis, aka The Petite Cook, who also brought us the magic cake last month, has shared the recipe on her blog.
To make the cookies, you need to wizz the two ingredients in a blender, and then scoop them out onto a baking tray and cook them for about 20-30 minutes.
You can drizzle a little chocolate over the top if you have some but it isn’t necessary.
Because they only have two ingredients, they are dairy and gluten-free and suitable for vegans, plus there’s no added sugar.
Andrea said: ‘These cookies are crispy on the outside, cakey and soft on the inside, naturally sweet and simply delicious!

‘I’ve been finding baking really therapeutic during this difficult time.
‘However, flour has quickly disappeared from most supermarkets, and I’m trying to save the basic ingredients we have at home (eggs, flour, butter) for our main meals.
‘This means I can’t bake sweet treats as often as I would like.
‘So to help my cookie cravings, I had to come up with a healthy cookie recipe made with the ingredients I have at home. And this is the ONE!’
Once you’ve made the cookies, they’ll keep for about five days in an airtight container so they’re perfect for those work from home snack breaks.
