Potbelly Sandwich Shop announced April 7 its launch of Potbelly Pantry, a new way to for customers to enjoy the restaurant’s sandwich ingredients from home in light of COVID-19.
According to a press release, customers will be able to stock up on their favorite Potbelly staples like hot peppers plus pre-layered and portioned meats via the main website or application.
Potbelly ingredients and sides include hand-sliced, fresh deli meats and savory cheeses, pre-layered and portioned meats for both Italian and “A Wreck” sandwiches, signature breads designed to be toasted at home, chicken and tuna salad, and chips and bottled beverages.
“Potbelly fans can make our famous Wreck or Italian sandwiches at home anytime they want — they just need our amazing, authentic ingredients,” said Chef Ryan LaRoche, Executive Chef at Potbelly. “Now you can get our fresh, delicious ingredients in bulk.”
Potbelly Pantry is available through Potbelly.com and the Potbelly app at participating locations. Orders are available through curbside pickup or delivery, free through April 12, 2020.
Fresh deli meats come in one-pound servings, cheeses are packaged in 10-ounce servings and signature breads are assembled in packs of six loaves to be toasted at home, according to the restaurant chain.
All deliveries include tamper-proof stickers to ensure safety. Potbelly Pantry will be available nationwide for all corporate shops, though airports and some franchise restaurants are excluded.
There are six locations in northwest Houston including two in the Cypress area, two in Klein, and one in Tomball and Spring.
