The newest Xbox consoles are set to drop on Nov. 12, but you can preorder Tuesday, Sept. 22, at a number of sites, including Microsoft, Walmart and Best Buy.
There are some things you need to know before you preorder.
For instance, you have choices.
The Series X is listed for $499. This is the console set to replace the Xbox One X. The price includes console, a controller and an HDMI cable.
The Xbox Series X is compatible with your Xbox One gaming accessories and brings faster response time than ever before.
The Series S is listed for $299. The price is attractive, but offers only 512GB storage, which, if you are a heavy gamer, might not be enough storage space for you. It is available through the “Xbox All Access” interest-free financing plan. For $25 per month over two years, you’ll get a console and a subscription to Game Pass Ultimate for the duration.
Both are available to preorder Tuesday, Sept. 22, starting at 10 a.m. (11 a.m. ET).
Here’s where you can pre-order:
When you preorder the console, Best Buy is offering a $10 savings on an extra black or white controller, a $15 on Game Pass Ultimate and a $25 savings on both, whether you buy them separately or in a package with the Collectible Card.
Walmart has extra controllers on preorder available for $59.88.
In addition to the controllers, Target offers Xbox Rechargeable Battery + USB-C Cable.
