STARKVILLE, Miss. – The New Orleans track & field program posted some of the best marks in the Southland Conference across multiple events as the Privateers concluded the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays hosted by Mississippi State at the Mike Sanders Track Complex on Saturday.

NOTABLES
- Sophomore Alec Snell wins the men's title in the 800m dash as he posted a new personal best of 1:50.43. The mark is currently 10th in the nation and leads the Southland Conference. The next closest student-athlete in the race was a full 1.46 seconds behind.
- Freshmen Jaden Forester won his heat and placed second overall with a new personal best of 3:55.58 in the men's 1500m. The time is the 10th best mark recorded in the event in UNO history and ranks seventh in the conference.
- Elliott Cummings led the way for UNO in the men's 100m dash as he took sixth overall with a time of 10.56, the sixth-best mark in the conference.
- Jantrell Drakes goes 2:22.86 for a new personal best as she finished 16th overall in the women's 800m dash. The mark ranks ninth overall currently in the Southland.
- The meet was cut short on Saturday due to inclement weather.
NEXT UP
The Privateers get a much-needed breather from competition and will return with the LSU Boots Garland Invitational on Saturday, April 17.
