I distinctly recall a loaf of Wonder Bread being under 30 cents, a quart of milk was 25 cents, a quart of chocolate milk was 35 cents, Hostess cupcakes 10 cents, ice cream cups 10 cents and 15 cents, etc. ...
It's no yolk... I scrambled to make sense of that price, but the results left me hard-boiled! I think they actually poached the price from a 1970s grocery ad! Well, I'll keep my sunny side up, because I'm omelet it get to me... Gee, it's been a while since I made these puns, and they've left me fried...
A little before I started pricing grocery items. 5 out of 10 (remember 5 & 10's though). #9- I'm guessing they mean the average apple pie has 2lbs of apples in it 🍎🍎
That would be a very heavy Apple Pie then, with all the other ingredients added in. Maybe 3 or 4 pounds.
