Because we can’t get enough versions of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, there’s one more flavor to try.
The newest entrant combines three ingredients - peanut butter, chocolate and caramel. Reese’s announced today it’s releasing Caramel Big Cups on Nov. 17.
Apparently, Reese’s fans have been requesting the combination, according to a press release stating Reese’s is “giving fans what they wanted.”
“Next to peanut butter, caramel is the most requested combination with chocolate – and while Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are already perfect, ask, and you shall receive,” said Emily Stover, Reese’s senior associate brand manager.
It’s actually not the first time Reese’s incorporated caramel. The company debuted regular sized peanut butter cup with caramel but phased them out in 2006.
That fueled a Change.org petition in 2021 asking for the candy to return, but it only garnered a 78 signatures. Still, Reese’s, which is owned by The Hershey Company, took matters into their hands.
“As the experts in chocolate and peanut butter deliciousness, we know what our fans want, and we’re delivering on that with the Reese’s Caramel Big Cup,” Stover said.
Fans can look for standard and king size packages of the Reese’s Caramel Big Cup.
