There are so many appliances on sale for Memorial Day weekend that you can find and save on whatever you need pretty easily. There are big discounts on refrigerators, washers and dryers, ranges, and dishwashers, and you can find similar savings at all the major spots.
If you want something you can pick up at a nearby walk-in location, check out Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Walmart. If doorstep delivery is more ideal, you can still shop at those places, but you may be able to find a slightly better price at a site such as AJ Madison or AppliancesConnection.
Here are a few highlights of the best Memorial Day appliance sales this year.
Bosch Dishwasher
The deal: $624 to $630 at AJ Madison, AppliancesConnection, Best Buy, Home Depot, and Lowe’s

The combination of superior performance and features that more commonly appear on pricier washers makes this entry-level Bosch a great value, especially because it’s usually closer to $700. It has a 95-minute cycle for a normal wash, among the shortest of any washer that CR tests. In CR surveys, Bosch dishwashers earn top marks for reliability and satisfaction.
GE Side-by-Side Refrigerator
The deal: $1,200 at Costco; $1,292 to $1,300 at AJ Madison, AppliancesConnection, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe’s and Wayfair

This GE side-by-side offers powerful performance and the most essential features. Our testers give it high marks for its ability to regulate temperature and find it very easy to use. It doesn’t have tons of features, but it covers all the basics, including a stainless steel finish, a through-the-door water/ice dispenser, a built-in water filter, and digital controls that show actual internal temperature. This 36-inch GE is discounted at most retailers, but Costco has the best deal, selling it for $100 less than other stores.
LG Front-Load Washer
The deal: $645 to $650 at AppliancesConnection, Best Buy, Home Depot, and Lowe’s
CR’s test results: LG WM3500CW front-load washer (and LG DLE3500W electric dryer)
Even when this washing machine was $800, it was a good deal, given that impressive front-loaders like this usually sell for $900 and up. It’s WiFi-connected, allowing you to monitor your washer’s progress and receive alerts on your phone. The 4.5-cubic-foot capacity is in line with other front-loaders. But wash time is 105 minutes using the normal wash/heavy-soil setting.
Samsung Electric Smoothtop Range
The deal: $595 to $600 at AppliancesConnection, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Wayfair
CR’s test results: Samsung NE59M4320SS single-oven electric smoothtop range
It’s tough to find a range with so many features at this price, particularly one that performs as well as this Samsung. In addition to strong performance in our tests, this range has two high-powered burners, a rarity at this price range, as well as a convection oven. Best of all, you’ll score it for about $200 off the regular price, which is the lowest price we’ve seen on this range in the past year or so.
